Review Methodology
How Rome Digital Bank lists, labels and reviews digital banking providers, in plain language.
What “Partner link” means
Wherever you see a “Partner link” label, it identifies a commercial relationship or referral link between Rome Digital Bank and that provider. It is not a product endorsement, a recommendation of quality, or a statement that the product is right for you.
Listing status categories
Affiliate or referral listings
A listing marked “Partner link” means Rome Digital Bank has a commercial or referral relationship with that provider. If you open an account through that link, we may earn a commission. This does not affect the price you pay.
Editorial listings
Some providers are listed for reference only, with no commercial relationship and no tracking link. These are included because they are relevant to the category, not because they are endorsed.
Mixed listings
Some categories contain both affiliate and editorial entries. Both types appear side by side, and the “Partner link” label is the only way to tell them apart. Commercial relationships do not determine ranking or inclusion on their own.
Labels we do not use
Rome Digital Bank does not use “Verified Partner” or “Official Partner” as labels of product quality, regulatory standing, or eligibility. If such wording appears anywhere on this site, it refers at most to the existence of a commercial relationship, never to the provider's licensing, safety, or suitability.
Licensing and regulatory claims
Licensing or regulatory statements are only shown where a cited provider or regulatory source has been reviewed. We do not independently verify every claim a provider makes. Where no source has been reviewed, listings state that regulatory status is not independently verified by Rome Digital Bank.
Review dates and staying current
Products are checked periodically and listings show the date they were last reviewed. Rates, fees, availability, currencies, account types and eligibility change frequently. You must always verify current terms and whether a provider accepts customers in Italy (or your country of residence) directly with the provider before opening any account.
Commissions
Rome Digital Bank may earn a commission when you open an account through partner links. This does not affect the price you pay. Read our full affiliate disclosure.
